Volunteer
YEP! Youth Engagement Planning is fully run by its volunteers!
Planning professionals, professionals in related fields like municipal government and engineering, graduate students, and others with expertise in urban planning and civic engagement are all invited to join us by:
becoming a part of our Planning Day in School classroom teams;
developing new planning-related curriculum;
hosting an event in your area;
identifying new schools and organizations with which to partner;
or providing other forms of support in keeping with your individual skillset and interests.
If you’re interested in making a difference in the lives of young people, we would love your help!
Continuing Education (CM) Credits and Internship Credit
Planning professionals can potentially receive Continuing Education (CM) credits both for attending our planner-facing workshops and for volunteering.
If you are a graduate or undergraduate student, you may be able to receive internship credit, depending on the requirements of your institution.
